Dear Readers and The Sandlot Fans,
Here's a panorama photo of the audience at Werner Park Stadium for the first event of The 20th Anniversary Sandlot Tour:

THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY SANDLOT TOUR, OMAHA, 2012...
Dear Readers and Fans of The Sandlot,
I'm on my way back from the first "The Sandlot" tour event in Omaha, NE.
It was great in every sense of the word. It never ceases to amaze me how loved and beloved the film is to people. I was thanked hundreds and hundreds of times by kids and adults alike for making the film and told it was a huge and influential part of their childhoods.
I was brought to tears a few times as well, just from the sheer magnitude of the gratitude people showed for The Sandlot.
I'll have a full post on the event by Friday, but just wanted to share these thoughts, show you the poster I had made up for the event, and say thanks again to Ben and Marty from Werner Park Stadium and Jonathan Nikkila from the city of Kearney Nebraska who organized the event there benefitting The World Theater project. And, of course, Dave Shaw and his team at 20th Century Fox for helping me out!
If you would like The Sandlot Tour to come through your city next year, drop me an email at DMESandlot@Gmail.com.
Thanks for reading and check back soon!
And sign up to follow.
Best,
DME
